Long time, no update.
It's so strange. I seem to be within a stone's throw of earning my Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts. The piece of paper really doesn't assure me. I know I've gotten better in the four years I've been in college, yet I don't really feel confident as an artist. Sometimes I even despise my trade. It irks me how much time and effort it takes to produce an image, only to find a number of flaws or mistakes.

I think I may begin working on my comic soon. That untitled comic, whose plot is still a nebulous series of events, may be my life's work. It will certainly take me a long time to tell it, and I really hope I'm ready...

Lately, however, I've had some time off. School is out for the summer, so except for my part-time job at the school, I haven't had much to do. I've been working on and off on some art that I've been meaning to get done. I'm taking a summer class that starts monday, which should be interesting. I've also been playing Sonic and the Black Knight.

This is easily the worst Sonic game I've ever played. Whereas Secret Rings took the time to explain any new gimmick they introduced, Black Knight never explains how to use your styles effectively, and doesn't even let you customize them. The three secret characters are confusing (and, again, get no tutorial), and the sword controls are entirely slow and ineffectual.

Keeping up with the news at E3, I'm glad to hear about a new Metroid, Zelda, and Mario Galaxy. All this pales in comparison, however, to the news that there will be a new Golden Sun! Oh god, yes! I can't wait!!!
